CHALLENGE
The camera installations needed to cover various target areas including rooms, basements, attics, yards, and more. The key challenge was providing network IP video without having to pull new wire from head-end gear, which is very time intensive. In addition, the devices needed to be powered without running a
separate power cord. The appearance of the installation needed to remain professional. For security purposes, the video traffic also needed to be encrypted.
