Gateway Reuse Program
Transform excess inventory and used customer equipment into something useful. Comtrend can offer you money in exchange for this surplus equipment.
Send in your eligible gateways for money. We pay by check. If your gateway is not eligible for reuse, then we will recycle it or send it back to you. No matter the model or condition, we can put it into something good for you and the planet we live on.
How does it work?
1. Turns out, most Service Providers have an accumulation of Gateways in a variety of conditions. Now would be a great time to clean house. Talk to your Comtrend Sales Representative to see what models and quantities qualify for the program.
2. Ship us your Gateways! Once we receive it, we will evaluate the product and let you know if any adjustment is necessary to the original quote.
3. If some units fail testing, we can have them appropriately destroyed or we can send them back to you (see FAQs for more details).
4. Free up some capital (and warehouse space) while knowing you’ve recycled these units for responsibly.
Better for the Planet, Less Land-Fill Gateways
You may be done with the gateway, but chances are that it still has more to give. If it’s in good shape, we will help it go to a new owner. If not, we will send it to be recycled, so we can have more precious materials and take less from the earth.

what is comtrend's gateway reuse program?
It's our ability to repurpose unused- or lightly-used gateways in an environmentally beneficial manner. If you have gateways that are eligible, you can receive financial compensation (i.e., we write you a check).
how much will i receive for my gateways?
The amount you receive will depend on many factors such as model, condition, and quantities. Once we receive the product and verify its condition, you'll be contacted to know what it is worth.
what if i don't want to accept what it's worth?
You can either accept or reject the offer. If you accept it, we will send you a check. If you reject it, then we will either return the product to you at your expense, or recycle it on your behalf.

how should I send the product?
Product should be packed in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Who Pays For Shipping?
Shipping is at the expense of the Service Provider. Each situation will differ; we know this is meant to be a net-positive experience for everyone involved.
