HomeGrid Forum presents multi-source G.hn demos at Computex 2013 to showcase the G.hn home network backbone
Taipei, Taiwan, June 2013–June 5th will be an exciting day at the Taipei International Convention Center VIP room (4th floor) as HomeGrid Forum members took to the stage at Computex 2013 to discuss, showcase, and publicly demonstrate to the world just what G.hn is today.
Representatives from Marvell, Metanoia, Sigma Designs, Tangotec, Xingtera, and Comtrend (the only complete product provider ready for vendor interoperation) all displayed examples of their G.hn-compliant products and their partners’ products, from silicon chips to many G.hn systems.
Showcasing high-speed home networking over coax cable and powerline, HomeGrid Forum’s e-Home demo gave a vivid illustration of G.hn possibilities in a real-life home. According to Frank Chuang, Marketing VP of Comtrend, “Computex was a great platform to show the world that the connected home of the tomorrow has numerous exciting prospects”.
