Irvine, CA based Comtrend extends donation of North America Home Networking sales through January 2013, raising funds for American Red Cross disaster relief efforts.
IRVINE, CA. DATE, 2012 – Comtrend, a global supplier of advanced networking solutions, announced today an extension of the donation period to benefit those affected by disasters, including the victims of the 2012 Winter Storm.
Weather catastrophes have mounted during the final month of 2012, adding pressure to the relief efforts of the American Red Cross. In an ongoing effort to assist, Comtrend will double its donation period to include January 2013. In total, 10% of all North American sales of Home Networking equipment will be included. Every qualified sale by a Comtrend distributor will automatically be added to this donation.
“The decision to extend this donation period was unanimous. In a holiday season traditionally marked by thankfulness and charity, the weather has instead challenged many families beyond their abilities. We are thankful to organizations like the American Red Cross who can take financial assistance and turn it into practical and life-saving assistance,” says Dan Knofler, Marketing Manager, Comtrend Americas.
