Sales Engineering Manager


– Support the team as a manager as well as an individual contributor

– Recruit, train and provide technical mentorship to Comtrend sales engineering team and provide management team on training plan and performance reviews

– Lead Comtrend sales engineering team for managing and coordinating all of the pre/post sales support activities of Comtrend products in the North America market

– Help Sales team to introduce product technologies and applications to customers, and clarifies produce specifications

– In charge of issue ticket system and look after all product issues reported by internal/external party and follow up accordingly for problem solving on a daily basis and continual ongoing risk mitigation planning

– Communicate and coordinate between the external customers and/or internal cross-function teams (e.g. R&D, PM, Marketing, Sales, operation) on troubleshooting effort

– Assist and work closely with product managers in managing their products and day-to-day tasks from technical perspective

– Work with product managers and offshore development team for project/product technical deliveries

– Work with sales team to develop product sales strategies

– Take responsibility for technical aspects of solutions to include such activities as managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources

– Provide technical advice to the sales force to resolve product or service requests regarding engineering, technical or scientific issues

– Recommend changes to products or services to fulfill customer needs

– Oversee the work of engineering, and call center staff to ensure that all jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to customer specifications

 Requirement: At least two years’ college studies in electrical engineering plus two years’ experience in the job field
